You can see that it is not very practical to be looking at each Time Frame between the different currency pairs trying to decide where there is good support or resistance to execute a trade on traditional charts. There must be a better way to view support and resistance across all time frames.
This is where the matrix concept came into play. We took just the information we needed to see from each Time Frame (Support & Resistance) and removed all the clutter. Every trader obviously wants to see the direction within each chart or Time Frame so we stripped out that information and incorporated it into our FxPM Matrix. Since Price Action is the only leading indicator in Forex, that is all we really wanted to see anyways! It boils down to 3 things… Support/Resistance, Trend, and Price Action.
